Monitoring health conditions such as blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and heart rate (BPM) is important to know the condition of the body early. This research aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT)-based SpO₂ and heart BPM monitoring system as well as determine the performance of the tool in displaying and transmitting measurement data in real-time. This system uses a pulse oximeter sensor, ESP32 microcontroller, OLED LCD, and Blynk application as a remote monitoring medium. The methods used include designing hardware and software, testing system functions, and taking measurement data. The test was carried out using the Fingertip Pulse Oximeter LK87 as a comparison tool with a total of 20 measurement samples. The data from the SpO₂ and BPM measurements were then analyzed to determine the level of conformity and performance of the system. The test results showed that the IoT-based tool was able to measure SpO₂ values in the range of 95–100% and BPM in the range of 60–100 BPM, and produced values that were close to the comparator with differences that were still within the tolerance limits. In addition, the measurement data is successfully displayed on the OLED LCD and transmitted to the Blynk app in real-time via an internet connection.
