Efektivitas LENTERA AKSARA (Literasi dan Numerasi Untuk Aksi Nyata) terhadap Kompetensi Warga Belajar PKBM Al Fattah

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy are essential competencies for enabling learners to understand information, solve problems, and apply knowledge in daily life. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of LENTERA AKSARA (Literacy and Numeracy for Real Action) in improving the competencies of learners at PKBM AL FATTAH, Tasikmalaya Regency. A quantitative approach was employed involving 50 learners, with competency measured through pretest and posttest assessments. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normalized gain (N-Gain), normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing. The findings showed that the mean score increased from 62.7961 in the pretest to 90.8606 in the posttest, with an improvement of 28.0645 points. The N-Gain score was 0.75, categorized as high, while hypothesis testing indicated a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.001). These findings indicate that LENTERA AKSARA is effective in strengthening learners’ literacy and numeracy competencies through meaningful, contextual, and active learning experiences.
