Pengaruh Investasi dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia terhadap Pertumbuhan PDB Industri Pengolahan

This study aims to understand the impact of investment and the Human Development Index (HDI) on the GDP growth of the manufacturing sector in Indonesia between 2011 and 2024. Utilizing secondary time-series data obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), this research employs a quantitative approach and analyzes the data using the multiple linear regression method with the EViews software.The analysis encompassed classical assumption testing, t-tests, F-tests, and the calculation of the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that investment has a positive impact on the manufacturing sector's GDP growth; however, this impact is not statistically significant, as the probability value (0.3754) exceeds the 0.05 threshold. The HDI shows a negative influence, which is also statistically insignificant, given a probability value (0.2845) greater than 0.05. Collectively, investment and HDI do not significantly affect the manufacturing sector's GDP growth (the F-statistic probability of 0.269382 is greater than 0.05). The Adjusted R-squared value of 0.068932 indicates that investment and HDI explain only approximately 6.89% of the variation in manufacturing sector GDP growth, while the remaining 93.11% is attributable to factors not included in the model. Consequently, throughout the study period, investment and the Human Development Index have not yet exerted a substantial impact on the growth of national production in Indonesia's manufacturing sector
